Jubilee Layout #1

This layout is the additional layout from Close to my Heart's  Jubilee" Workshop on the Go". I love the bright and fun colors of the paper packet. I already know what pictures will go on these pages. My daughter and son-in-law have a large garden every year and she cans most of it later in the summer.  I want to take pictures as her garden grows and the pictures of the finished goodies that come from their hard work.

This Base & Bling necklace was made by my granddaughter as a gift for her mom.  She also made one for herself.  She was surprised how fast they went together.  She now wants to make more for to go with her outfits.

Memorial Day

I want to take a moment to recognize all the women and men who have served our country in all branches of the military so that we can enjoy the freedoms they have fought for and many have given their all.  Thanks also the the families that stand behind them and support them.
In memory of my father, Lowell Olson, my brothers, Iver Olson and Lowell Olson Jr., and numerous other members of my family and friends.

These cards are also quick cards. 

 The papers are the same, just reversed.

The stamp set used is one of three stamps sets that

 come with the CTMH Artiste Cricut Collection.

FATHER'S DAY CARD

Father's Day is right around the corner.  I have a husband, a son, a son-in-law, brothers and brothers-in-laws that are awesome fathers.  This will be a hard time this year as it is my first year without my father, but I have great memories.

Here is the card we made for Father's Day. 

 It is a Gate Fold card that opens in the middle.  Since my guys are all car crazy, I decided to use CTMH's  Maximum Power

 ( D1564) Stamp Set. I stamped the truck and car images on a separate piece of paper, colored the images with Alcohol Markers, cut out the images and adhering the truck to one side of the front only, and the cars to the inside of the card.

 CTMH stamp set You're the Best (C1571)

The tire marks were stamped directly on the paper.

BALLOON RIDE MULTI FOLD CARDS

Here are two of the Specialty Fold Cards

 from May's Creative Card Class.  We used the Balloon Ride Paper Packet (X7180B)

This card is called a Pop Up card. 

 It is very easy to make.  I used the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut out the flower and Girls Rock (C1538) Stamp Set.

The great thing about this card is it lays flat for shipping.

Give a Lift Stamp Set (D1581)

This card is simply a 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" piece of CS folded to create a 4 1/2" sq. card base.  Just stamp 1/3 of the stamp on the folded card base.  Stamp the balloon on another piece of scrap, then cut it out and adhere to the card base lining up the images as shown.  I used water color pencils to color in the images, cut out the clouds and stamped the sentiment.  Fast and Simple!

MULTI MEDIA SWAP - CHERISH

Each month I participate in a Multi Media Swap.  This was my swap for May.  The theme was "Celebration" to be interpreted any way you would like.

The frame is from the dollar store, the sentiment was off the computer that I printed on photo paper and the embellishments are all Close to My Heart.
