CARD - SYMPATHY

This card was created using the
Close to My Heart's Artiste Cricut cartridge.
It seems I've needed too many Sympathy cards lately
, but this card could easily be a
 wedding, anniversary or birthday card.
  Just change the sentiment.
We learned how to use the Center Cut Key to cut
multiple cuts when  creating several cards with the same cut out.
The stamp set is Happy Birds (C1600).
I really like the Lagoon and White Daisy cardstock together.

Thanks for stopping by.

Washi Wonderland

Create your own washi wonderland by mixing, layering, and mounting washi tape strips on Close To My Heart's Dimensional Elements album pages for a fresh look. Cover the Dimensional Elements shapes directly or layer the washi tape on cardstock then cut coordinating album pages from the Artiste cartridge and Cricut® machine for uniquely patterned designs.

HARVEST TIME WREATH

This is our take on the beautiful Harvest Wreath from page 86 in the Autumn/Winter Close to My Heart Idea Book and catalog. These wreaths were made on straw wreaths Jackie had in storage. Some of the leaves were stamped with the Fall Harvest (C1504) stamp set and then cut out, but most of the leaves were cut from CTMH's Cricut Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges.  The leaves were given shapes by using a stylist and foam mat.

In October, I will be posting a tutorial for this wreath and several other fall projects, so be sure to check back often.

Thanks Jackie and Bonnie for a fun, creative morning!
 Your wreaths are beautiful!

SLIPPER

I wanted to share with you the beautiful slipper one of the members of our unit made recently.  Isn't it just spectacular?  I can't remember who did it, but she gave me permission to post this.
I will get her name at our meeting next week so
 I can give her credit.
It was cut on the Artiste Cricut cartridge.
More to follow on how she made this.

PIE WEDGE TREAT CONTAINER

My sister-in-law was here over Christmas
and wanted to learn how to use her new Cricut she got for Christmas along with the new Close to My Heart Cricut Cartridges.  We had a lot of fun
 creating new items
 and learning
all of the features on her Cricut.

The box was created using the
Close to My Heart's Artiste Cricut Cartridge.

The flowers were made using the
Close to My Heart's Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

We also used a stamp on the side and some of the
Sparkles Flourishes ( Z1708) on the top.  We folded the bottom and top, taped, then sponged some ink on the edges.  These are so quick to make and would be beautiful when several are
put together in a circle for a bridal shower.
