STAR PHOTO CALENDAR

Star Photo Calendar ***********************

My upline, Angela Tutton, showed us how to make this Star Photo Calendar at our January Unit Meeting. She originally saw this cute idea on Pinterest and had to give it a try. It took her a while to create the calendar on MS Publisher, but I think it turned out beautiful. Thank you Angela, we loved the project!

Supplies:

12 of your favorite photos or pictures representing different months of the year. We will cut these to approx 2 ½” x 2 ½”.
(3) 6” x 12” pieces of Chocolate Cardstock

Directions:
Take 3 6"x 6" pieces of cardstock and score them every 3 inches
Accordion fold the pieces
Place all three pieces in front of you so they resemble three "M's" and glue together like this  .
MMM
The ribbon is secured under the layers of cardstock that are on the front and back.  Decorate front and back as shown.
Print the calendar on Backround and texture papers.  I used a variety of retired papers, a great way to use up older papers. Place calendars on inside so months follow one another. You can find the link to the  CALENDAR. here.
I have not attached pictures as yet, but they will adhere directly above the calendars on the pages.

ADVENT CALENDARS

Here are two different Advent Calendars I made .

This was made last year from a Making Memories kit I was given.  It was supposed to be put together in the shape of a tree, but I could not get it to stand, so I put it away without being finished.  When Close to My Heart came out with their NEW My Creations Cubby (Z1804) this fall, I decided to see if these boxes would fit.  To my surprise, they fit perfectly.

Below is the "Workshops on the Go Advent Calendar Kit" from CTMH.
If you are interested in making one of these, just click on the shopping cart to your right and it will take you to my website

This kit comes complete with everything needed to put this Advent Calendar together.
My Creations Cubby (Z1804)
My Acrylix Advent Calendar Workshop Stamp set (C Size)
3 each of 5 kit exclusive Cardstock Sheets
Bitty Sparkles (Z1263)
2 - 12"-6" Dimensional Elements In Color - Frame Sheets
Instructional Brochure

This requires the Cricut Artiste cartridge to complete as shown as that is what is used to cut the boxes.

Both of these were given as gifts this year.  I just added a bow to finish.  Now I will make one to match my craft room to organize those tiny embellishment.  I'll post a picture when I finish.

EVENT CALENDAR

Creative Club made this Event Calendar as part of a two calendar workshop in November and December.  Various papers, stamp sets and the CTMH Event Calendar ( Z126) were used.

This calendar is designed to record your recurring important events like birthdays and anniversaries.
Once you have it set up, you can use it for years.  It is so handy, just flip it each month and your reminders are right there!  This is a real must have for a family and extended family as large as mine.
