Halloween Cards - Nevermore

Here are a couple more cards from our

 Unit Meeting using the Nevermore Papers.

 As you can see the papers can be used for Fall or Halloween,

 but don't limit them to just that time of year. 

 Some of these papers can be used year round.

Here are two of our unit swap items from our October meeting that I forgot to post for you.  I'm sorry they're late, but the same idea can be used for the Holidays also, just change out the papers.

I wanted to share with you some of the cute cards

 and treat holders some of my Card Exchange ladies

 made and brought to share.

This class is a "Use It Up" class, where any papers, stamps, 

ribbons and embellishments can be used.

I am blessed with very creative ladies in this group.

Judy made this Treat Box and filled it with goodies, too.

Joan made several note card holders.

She also took the napkin from my last class and used 

it as an inspiration for a card.  How cute is this?

Joan sends out over 50 cards a month to friends and family.

This was my project, and here are the directions for you to make your own

 Halloween Treat/ Gift Card Holder

Supplies:

CTMH Flirty  Backround and Texture Paper ( X7160B)

CTMH Black Cardstock ( 1386)

CTMH Perfect Fit - Halloween Stamp Set  ( B1413)

Bat - All Hallows Eve Stamp Set (C1462)

Adhesive

CTMH Goldrush Ink ( Z2123)

CTMH Black Ink (Z2105)

Directions:

 Take one piece of black 6"x6" cardstock  and fold it in half diagonally.  Unfold and lay flat.

Place the center point up in front of you.  You can either score in from the outside tips at 3 3/4" or place your piece of candy as your guide and fold the left and right corners in toward the center.   Glue or tape your top corner over the other flap to hold it in place.  Refold center fold up so that pockets are formed front and back.   Cut 1/4"x 12" piece of  Backround and Texture paper.  Adhere to front 1/2" from bottom and wrapped around entire piece.  Trim.  Using remainder piece, make ribbon for top.  Glue and Trim.  Punch 2" B&T scalloped circle.  Layer a 1 3/4" scalloped black CS circle on top.  Stamp sentiment on a 1 1/4" circle.  Ink around edge.  Adhere to black scallop circle with 3-D tape. Stamp bat, cut out and adhere to top. Insert your candy piece in front and a note or gift card in back.
