Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great
week! There has been a lot going on in my life lately which has kept
me out of my craft room. We have have been blessed with new members to our family. My son
recently married and we added his new wife and two more beautiful granddaughters.
The very
next day we welcomed a new grandson.
There were a few complications and mommy had to go back to the hospital
for several days. Since I had our little
guy staying with us, my time was limited.
It’s been some time since I needed to be up every couple of hours to
feed a little one. I can now say mom and
baby are home doing very well.
After months of meetings and preparations
that I helped with, we held our church’s Women’s Retreat at Alderbrook for 92
women. It turned out to be a fantastic
three days with some incredible women. I
returned from it on Saturday afternoon and left Monday morning at 3:00 am for
the airport to go to Mazatlan..
Bert and I just returned from a vacation to
Mazatlan, Mexico with our daughter, son-in-law and their two children, plus my
son’s two daughters, where we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Tonight we will be celebrating the actual date with family and friends.
I am hoping to find a little time this week to
create some more cards using the current Stamp of the Month called “Typed Note”.
This is another fun and vintage style stamp set that can be used in many
different ways. Do you remember using a Typewriter in school? I know I
do! I actually was required to take a typewriting class in high school. My grandkids take keyboard classes now.
HAPPY CREATING!
