Base & Bling at Its Finest
Our Base & Bling line has expanded! More sophisticated than ever, the line now features your choice of faux antiqued gold or silver chains and pendants with four distinct styles of customizable elements. Whether you veer toward vintage, nurture your inner nerd, dare to daydream, or crave crafting, you and your customers are sure to find the perfect bling for your unique personalities.
As you saw in the video, the additions to our Base & Bling collection are trendy, inexpensive, versatile, and so easy to make. We call the Base & Bling products “wearable crafts” because of their unique intersection of jewelry and crafting. They satisfy your desire for creativity and provide instant gratification by allowing you to have something to wear right away. The simplicity of these projects gives them broad appeal–even first-time crafters can create high quality products in just minutes. They’re the perfect project for friends at slumber parties, at baby showers, or to give as gifts.
We recommend using Liquid Glass to attach photos to bases. Keep in mind, however, that Liquid Glass can affect the color of materials it comes in contact with. We encourage you to experiment on samples before applying it to your final project.

Card Makers!
I have many pictures, too many for here. There were layouts being made, pictures being sorted, card making, Cricuts buzzing, photos being printed on portable printers, bidding fights at the auction tables, eating, laughing, and getting to know new ladies sharing a common interest. We had a ball!!
Thanks to you all!!!!!
Donations for Operation Smile
are accepted year round through rounding up on orders or just straight donations. They are always welcome.
That will bring the total up even higher.

SPARKLE & SHINE LAYOUTS
These are the three layouts that were created
in January at our Creative Layouts Class.
The first two came directly from the
Close to My Heart's Holidays from the Heart Gift Guide.
This last layout is a bonus layout I offer
using the extra papers from the kit,
along with the Sparkle & Shine Compliments (X7176C),
and the Sparkle & Shine Assortment ( Z1860).
Now to get my Christmas pictures and journaling on them.

BIRTHDAY CARD
As you might tell, I have been cleaning out
my stash of misc. retired papers lately.
Here is another Birthday card with a
masculine feel that I made for a friend.
The technique used was backround stamping with desert sand ink,
then just layering the backround and texture papers.
The picture doesn't show well, as it is a very nice looking card.

STAMP & SCRAP
I want to thank each of you that attended my Annual Stamp & Scrap Day that benefited Operation Smile. We were able to purchase over 6 operations, that was over $1500. I want to thank the Port Orchard United Methodist Church for the donation of the venue, my Beta Zeta Master sorority sisters that helped me and donated items for the silent auction, Donna Printz for the fabulous lunch she prepared, and everyone that registered, attended, purchased items and donated. It's because of you that we were able to purchase so many smiles!
I will post some pictures later this week.
