NOTE CARDS

Do you ever need a quick note card? 

 This is my go-to card in a hurry.  It just takes seconds to make.  In this case I was using up left over papers and zip strips from my paper pack.  Any embellishment can be used.

CARD - BRIGHT SUNSHINY DAY

How is your summer going? 

 It is beautiful here in the Puget Sound.

  I saw a similar card like this at convention this year and decided to recreate it.  It reminds me of today, as we live on a lake and the kids love to enjoy the sun.

I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the original designer,

CONVENTION CARD

I want to share with you my favorite card

 from the card exchange at

 Close to My Heart's convention this year. 

 This card was designed by Teresita Aruelo

 from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Look at the great detail that Teresita has on this darling card!  First she embossed with a cloud embossing folder.  What you can't see well in the picture is that she used Stardust Prisma Glitter Gel on the raised areas.  Next she punched circles of different colors and attached them.  Using CTMH's Paper Doll (D1547) stamp set, she stamped the image, then stamped it again on B&T Paper, then cut the hat, shoes and outfit out.  She then colored the face and hair with CTMH's alcohol based markers, added waxy flax bows, and more Glitz Gel polka dots on her tunic and hat.  Lastly, she accented the shoes, socks, capris and tunic with a white gel pen.
