My Granddaughter helped me make this banner for her room.
It was very easy with the CTMH Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge,
you can make one too!

• Stamp set, July SOTM ; Live Out Loud
• Stamp set from Lucy WOTG
• Gray Wool Ink Pad
• Creme Brulee Ink Pad
• Cotton candy Ink Pad
• Cotton candy Marker
• Pear Marker
• 3x3 Block
• Foam Tape
• Liquid Glass
• Tombow Adhesive
• 1/4" hole punches
• Piercing Tool
• Accents such as coordinating Sweet Leaf Grosgrain Ribbons, sparkles, paper flowers and butterflies, Bitty Buds Assortment, Designer Brads, Bling Assortmrnt

Tips:

• (Cut 7) 1 1/2" x 12" Green print cardstock from Lucy pack scored every 1/4" and accordion folded to make yo yo's. 
• B&T Papers for Banner - Cut 7 banner covers using the cut on page 49 in Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Book. I cut my banners at 6 3/4" and they fit perfectly on the banner chipboards. Butterfies are also cut from the cartridge. 
• Top Borders - I used the Cricut cut that is a scalloped border with holes in the scallops found on page 64 in the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge Book (use the Font button) Cut 7 in Blush CS.
• I stamped  the flowers from the Lucy Workshop on the Go stamp set. The outline of the flower is stamped in 2nd generation Gray Wool and the petals are stamped in 2nd generation Creme Brulee

CONVENTION STUDIO J LAYOUTS

Everyone attending Convention was able to create 5 layouts with Close to My Heart's Studio J online scrapbooking.  They were then delivered to us at registration.  It was so much fun to see how different they could be with color or embellishment changes.

CARDS FROM CONVENTION

Here is a sneak peak are some of the cards we made at Convention

 using some of the new papers.

This card used a combination of the La belle Vie and Dakota paper packs, the  BakersTwine Harvest Asst., Sparkles, Slate Mini Medley Rose pins.

This card and hearts were cut on the New Artiste Cricut Cartridge, and used left over scraps.

This is also a new card cut from the Artiste Cricut Cartridge and uses the My Acrylix stamp set Pun Fun.

This card features the same stamp set above.  Check out the Silver Shimmer Trim.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Can you believe it is the 4th of July already!  I hope all of you have an opportunity to spend some time with your family and friends today.  We celebrated this morning with several of our lake neighbors with our annual Lake Tahuyeh Boat Parade.  Everyone decorates their boats, kayaks, jet skis, etc. and parades around the lake.  We then have a fun ice cream social, and a chance to chat with our friends and be entertained by the kids with a play.  Of course swimming was enjoyed also.  Now to scrapbook it all!
Now off to a BBQ with other friends, then back home for the fireworks!  It is such a beautiful day!  I think summer has finally arrived here in the Pacific Northwest ~ finally!
